Bring the whole family out for Tulsa's largest annual event, the Tulsa State Fair, and enjoy fun-filled, family entertainment at its best. One of Oklahoma's premier events, the Tulsa State Fair entertains festival-goers with a large array of carnival rides, midway games, attractions, free concerts, creative art displays and much more. This fair attracts over one million visitors each year and thousands of visitors each day. Join the crowds and experience thrilling rides and breathtaking attractions at the Tulsa State Fair, held at Tulsa Expo Square. Bring the kids and purchase tickets to this year's Disney on Ice. Also, the PRCA Rodeo will return to this year's fair to the delight of rodeo fans everywhere. TARTUFFE by Moliere, adapted by Timothy Mooney Opens at TCC October 3rd Tulsa Community College is gearing up for an exciting new production of Tartuffe, adapted by Timothy Mooney and directed by Mark Frank, set to hit the stage at the VanTrease PACE Studio Theatre on the Southeast Campus. Performances are October 3-5 at 8pm and October 6th at 2pm. Set in 17th-century France, the play revolves around Orgon, a wealthy bourgeois who has taken in Tartuffe, a religious imposter, into his home. Tartuffe's outward displays of piety deceive Orgon to the point of promising him his daughter's hand in marriage and bestowing his wealth upon him. However, Tartuffe's true motives and manipulative nature become increasingly evident as he attempts to seduce Orgon's wife and seize control of the household. The play escalates into a hilarious and thought-provoking commentary on gullibility, deceit, and the clash between reason and passion. The play is rated PG-13 and has adult themes. Ok Mozart Festival Oktoberfest

October 5, 2024 | 12 - 8 p.m.

Dress up in Bavarian folklore clothing and head to the OK Mozart Festival Oktoberfest to experience all the flair and flavors of this traditional German festival. Bartlesville guests get a taste of Germany through on-hand food trucks delivering authentic eats, as well as hot dogs, cupcakes, and strudel. Cocktails and wine will be served alongside the festival staple of plenty of Oktoberfest beers. Besides restaurants on wheels and brewery booths, local vendors will bring their best German specialty goods to the public. Sift through steins, apple butter and candles before taking part in the costume contest or competing in the stein-holding competition and Hammerschlagen. Dance to live polka music and watch German-American Society of Tulsa dancers perform traditional German dances. The kids will have a blast too, with entertaining games like Torwand, a traditional soccer game. Children can also decorate cookies, join in the kazoo parade, and get their faces painted. In the event of inclement weather, Oktoberfest will be moved to the Bartlesville Community Center.

Hinder in Concert

Catch a show by native Oklahoma band Hinder at the Tulsa State Fair. The band is known for their top songs "Lips of an Angel" and "Get Stoned." They added a sixth studio album to their discography in 2023 called "The Reign." Get ready to rock out with your favorite Hinder songs in Tulsa this October.

TCC Theatre Presents Auditions for Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding by the Artificial Intelligence Group Tulsa Community College Theatre is thrilled to announce auditions for the improvisational tour de force play, Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding. Auditions will be held on October 8-9, 2024, at 7:00 PM at the Tulsa Community College Southeast Campus PACE Studio Theatre. This unique production invites both college students and community members to take part in an improvisational theatrical experience like no other. The play is directed by TCC theatre professor, Bethanie Frank, who has been the director of the Rubber Chicken Factory Improvisational Comedy Troupe for the last thirty years. Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding is a dynamic, interactive comedy that combines improvisation with scripted elements, offering a lively and engaging experience for both performers and audience. This show is known for its spontaneous humor, memorable characters, and the lively energy that makes each performance a one-of-a-kind event. The play will be presented on November 14-15-16th at 8pm and November 17th at 2pm. Owasso Harvest Festival & Pet Festival

October 12, 2024 | 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The Owasso Harvest Festival takes place at Redbud Festival Park and is free and open to the public. Come have fun with family-friendly activities including rides, inflatables, live music, a petting zoo and more. Kids will love getting their face painted and having a balloon artist make them a custom creation. Browse through dozens of vendors with a wide variety of items, or sign up for Owasso's Junior Showcase where you can show off your vocal abilities. When you get hungry, stop by a food truck for a tasty bite to eat from one of the area's many mobile restaurants. Guests are also welcome to bring their leashed dogs to this one-day fall festival. This year, celebrate Adopt a Shelter Dog month in October during the Pet Festival held in conjunction with the Harvest Festival. Several pets will be available for adoption during the event and a variety of vendors offering pet products will be on-site.

Pleasant Valley Farms Winter Squash & Pumpkin Festival

October 12-13, 2024

Pleasant Valley Farms Pumpkin Patch in Sand Springs grows one of Oklahoma's largest pumpkins and winter squash varieties. With over 90 varieties from 13 countries, the farm also provides information on each variety's use, including baking, pies, jams, or decoration. Nearly two dozen vendors and craftsmen will be on-site with an array of items to purchase at the festival. Browse through handmade soaps, tasty jellies and much more, or pick a traditional orange pumpkin to take home. Craftsmen will also demonstrate their skills for crowds, including chainsaw wood carving. Buy a ticket to ride the horse-drawn wagon ride, pet barnyard animals at the petting barn, try the "punkin' chunkin'" cannon and grab a bite to eat at the concession stand. Visitors can snap fall-themed photos or shop in the gift shop. Navigate the 15-acre corn maze, play a round of mini golf, or try your luck at pumpkin bowling. Brush Creek Bazaar

The Brush Creek Bazaar is an annual Tulsa event that boasts fun for everyone in the scenic Brush Creek area. Over a two-day period, enjoy shopping, entertainment and carnival activities in a family environment. The outdoor festival features exhibits from wood and metal craftsmen as well as vendor booths with everything from decor and soap to candles and clothing. Shop row after row of craft supplies and locally-made art from unique and exceptional artists while your children play in the kid zone. Complete with pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting and a swan pond, your children will never want to leave. Take a break from shopping to enjoy some quality time with the family over some live music and fair food. The annual event has been hosted in Tulsa since the 1980s and has been featuring top-notch live entertainment throughout that time.

Lederhosen Lauf at Oktoberfest Tulsa

October 17, 2024 | 7:15 p.m.

Kick off your Tulsa Oktoberfest with the Lederhosen Lauf three-mile race. Participants in this race will lace up their tennis shoes and tighten their lederhosen before taking off through the Tulsa West Festival Park. Run alongside your friends as you race to the finish line. Winners of the race will receive the festival's famous chicken hat, a hat shaped like a chicken complete with ear flaps. All tickets to the race include a half-liter stein, a drink token to fill the stein, a T-shirt and free admission to Oktoberfest. Celebrate your hard work by filling up the stein with your favorite beer and relaxing with some live entertainment.

Tulsa Oktoberfest

Voted "Best Festival" by the Urban Tulsa Weekly, the Tulsa Oktoberfest offers fun for all ages. Visitors to this fall celebration will enjoy delicious food, refreshing beverages, high-flying carnival rides, live music straight from Germany and much more. Savor authentic German beer imported from Munich, or enjoy a glass of wine. You won't want to miss the gleeful polka dancing sessions and live Bavarian-style entertainment. Browse through rows of booths filled with art and crafts, along with authentic markets where visitors can find all kinds of German items such as stained glass, steins, Pilsner glasses, beads, and novelties. A trip to Tulsa's Oktoberfest would not be complete without witnessing a variety of fun and hilarious events like beer keg races, beer pong competitions and wiener dog races. German music groups will showcase their talents for crowds, while rock-'n-roll cover bands, dance troupes and country artists perform in various tents throughout festival grounds. Learn to polka or do the chicken dance, which was introduced in the United States in 1981 at Linde Oktoberfest. Route 66 Flywheelers Gas Engine & Tractor Show

October 18-19, 2024

Head to Rogers Point Park along Route 66 in Catoosa for the Route 66 Flywheelers Gas Engine & Tractor Show. Admire restored and operating machinery, including a steam traction engine. See old gas engines, antique tractors, tractor pulls, oil field engines, garden tractors and vintage farm equipment. A large swap meet gives collectors the chance to find hard-to-locate parts for all kinds of vehicles. This unique show also features Allis Chalmers and John Deere tractors. Be sure to hang around for the Parade of Power, and enjoy food and refreshment from vendors on site.

Mummy & Me Dance

Rev your engines and get ready for the Mid-America Mower Racing Series Finals and Hallomoween in Claremore. This two-day event is packed with mower racing and Halloween festivities. The event begins on Friday with the racing finals for the Mid-America Mower Racing Series. Bring your fastest mower and join the race or cheer on your favorite mowers as they race through the grass to claim victory. On Saturday, dress in costume and bring the kids for a spooky and entertaining race. Mowers will throw candy and other treats into the crowd as they circle the track. Kids will love cheering on the mowers as they collect candy. This one-of-a-kind Halloween event is sure to be fun for both competitors and spectators.

Bixby’s Hallow(Themed) Party

Route 66 Pecan & Music Festival

Take a detour off historic Route 66, and head to the Route 66 Pecan & Music Festival in Claremore. The festivities will begin with a 60-foot flag-raising ceremony. Step inside The Nut House for a variety of musical entertainment, fun games and more. Enjoy great food, a pie-eating contest and pumpkin painting for the kids. Bring the kids to the Route 66 Pecan & Music Festival to explore the festival's children's area.  Venture through The Nut House and make your way to Pecan Hall for a craft fair featuring artisans and crafters from around the state. Stroll through booths filled with unique wares and goods available for purchase. In The Nut House’s retail store, homemade sweet treats, jams, jellies, fudge, and nuts will be available. A wide selection of Route 66 souvenir items, such as t-shirts, coffee mugs, Christmas ornaments, magnets and more will also be on-hand at the Route 66 Pecan & Music Festival in Claremore.

Will Rogers Days & Motion Picture Festival

The Will Rogers Motion Picture Festival celebrates film and Western heritage icon Will Rogers, an Oologah native. Visit the Will Rogers Memorial Museum to screen a diverse array of films at the Motion Picture Festival, held in honor of Will Rogers' first movie and his far-reaching popularity in the dawn of his day.
