Applications are now being accepted for the Oklahoma Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF).
HAF provides financial assistance for homeowners who have experienced a significant reduction or loss of income or significant increase in expenses due to COVID-19 and have been unable to remain current with their mortgage, insurance, property tax or homeowner’s association dues payments.
Payments made on behalf of homeowners under HAF are not considered gross income for federal tax purposes. Instead, they qualify as disaster relief payments.
