George, a retired professional, returns home from a visit to the My Dentist office in Bixby after deciding to change dentists. He discusses the experience with his wife, Laura. George notes to her that the Tulsa metro area has plenty of dentists who can do a decent dental job, “But it’s different there. I talked to everyone and found a friendly atmosphere with happy, smiling employees. One employee quickly assured me that it’s okay being reluctant going to the dentist.”
“George, you’re not reluctant. You’re scared to death – despite your age and life experiences.”
“I shared that with them, and the staff assured me they would take good care of me,” George replied.
According to Office Manager Jake Hodges, “We put our patients first, and we don’t settle for temporary ‘duct tape’ jobs. We are committed to lifetime care. That level of service elevates My Dentist to world class and sets us apart from most dental offices.”
He and the entire staff – two dentists, four assistants and seven other full-time employees – want each patient, young or older, to have a positive dental experience.
Dr. Tygran Pahlevanyan sees dentistry as “fun, challenging and rewarding, and at the end of each day, you really feel like you accomplished something. I love to see my patients smile and build long lasting relationships with them. My mission is to be friendly, professional and honest with my patients. I genuinely care about them and do my best to provide the best dental care I possibly can. I want my patients to look forward to their dental visits.”
Dr. G. Bret Anderson has been practicing for 25 years, and currently is Chief of Dental Services at the Oklahoma Air National Guard, as well as past dental director at the Morton Health Center. He loves providing services at My Dentist – Bixby, which allows him to focus on patient care.
Hodges believes little things are important in creating the positive experience. My Dentist is a corporate chain of seven offices in Tulsa and 700 nationwide. “We have contracts, with agreed rates, with major dental plans. That means My Dentist will save you money for the same procedure and same materials at another dentist,” he said.
Better rates, friendly atmosphere and skilled people all contribute to the success of the five-year-old Bixby office, which remains the busiest of the seven in the Tulsa area.
My Dentist Bixby offers regular dental care needs as well as significant cosmetic and restorative services. “We want to design a care plan that is right for you,” Hodges said. “We take the time to explain your options, listen to your concerns and answer any questions you may have.”
Hodges adds that too many people are not getting the care they need because of cost. “Our payment options can fit your budget, and you can get the bright new smile you want and deserve. That’s what My Dentist is all about.”
