Intimate isn’t typically the first word that comes to mind when thinking about veterinary care, but patients and their owners who visit Family Animal Medicine agree it’s the best word to describe the facility. Owners Dr. Jenny Nobles and Dr. Gena Guerriero, along with their highly skilled and experienced team, understand the importance of relationship-based care when it comes to taking care of fur babies and their families. Pets and their people are treated like Family. The growing practice moved to their new location at 10305 N. Owasso Expressway in February of 2018 with the desire to expand their veterinary services while maintaining the personal relationships between client, patient and doctors, an aspect rare to the veterinary world. These close relationships are at the core of the hospital’s mission and are what sets Family Animal Medicine apart from other practices.
Always striving to improve care, the hospital recently hired a fourth veterinarian. Dr. Kyle Albin, a full-time veterinarian and Owasso native, is now a part of the hospital Family, along with Dr. Carmin Bieberly who has been with FAM for 2 years. Incorporating more Doctors required more highly experienced and trained staff. Registered Veterinary Technicians have joined the team to provide additional services and assist with veterinary care. The entire team has literally hundreds of years of cumulative experience in veterinary medicine. FAM’s Lead Receptionist, Mariann, has over 35 years in the industry and is the first friendly face clients encounter when entering the clinic or scheduling appointments. Some pet parents feel so welcome at the Family-oriented practice that they have transitioned into employees, because of the excellence of care and close-knit relationships found at the hospital.
Stunning, state-of-the-art facilities, extensive experience, unique relationships between staff and owners, and expanded services are just a few of the many ways Family Animal Medicine sets itself apart from other veterinary care providers. The new hospital includes a boarding facility with 13 large dog runs and separate housing for smaller dogs. A play yard allows dogs to be exercised multiple times daily within the safety and security of privacy fencing. An isolated cat area includes quiet boarding with floor to ceiling windows that provide views to the outside. Making comfort a top priority, each pet has an elevated cot for resting and sleeping.
Dr. Nobles and Dr. Guerriero, along with their staff, strive to make sure each visit with Family Animal Medicine is a positive experience, fostering a trust between patients and parents. The closeness between staff, patients, and Family in the Owasso community is what drives the hospital to excel. The hospital has moved and expanded, but the heart of the team remains the same, their mission to serve the surrounding communities with high-quality veterinary care is unchanging.
Upon entering their new facility, you have confidence that you and your pet will be treated like family.
