General Manager Steve Renard shows off the new Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet Convertible.
Bob Moore’s automotive legacy began in Oklahoma City in 1970. The dealerships are still family-owned, and Bob Moore has become a historic national and local figure. His legacy continues with his son, Mark Moore, who runs the daily operations of the Auto Group based out of Oklahoma City. With consistent expansion over the years, they now serve all of central Oklahoma, Tulsa, the Dallas-Fort Worth areas and beyond with 15 dealerships and 16 brands of cars, trucksand crossovers.
According to General Manager Steve Renard, “Bob Moore Nissan of Tulsa is the second Nissan store in the family, and we are committed to living up to our motto, ‘Respectfully Yours.’” With the new Nissan store, Bob Moore Auto Group has shown a commitment to the brand. “It is a nice addition to our portfolio and a great opportunity to capitalize on awareness of our brand name presence in other regional markets,” said Renard. The availability of both new and used products at two locations is a real plus to customers.
Mr. Renard became general manager of Bob Moore Nissan of Tulsa in September of 2011. Prior to coming to Tulsa, he was general sales manager of the Auto Group’s Nissan store in Norman until May of 2010. He has served his 17 years in the industry with Nissan. Some brands have felt the shortage since the tsunami crashed the shores of Japan on March 11, 2011. “However, we have a great inventory of Nissan vehicles,” said Renard, “and our incoming supplies have never been better.”
Bob Moore Nissan of Tulsa is growing and striving to meet the ever-increasing needs of customers by offering a state-of-the-art showroom, parts and service center, and finance department. Their service department provides rental vehicles, and the dealership aggressively offers an attractive program for recent or soon-to-be graduates who may qualify for auto loans with little or no credit history. Bob Moore also offers a Nissan Certified Pre-Owned buying program, where all Certified Pre-Owned cars come with the limited powertrain warranty of seven years or 100,000 miles and free roadside assistance.
Renard says the company is proud to be involved in supporting local communities. Over the years they have supported children’s hospitals, heart walks and many other causes. Recently they have been involved with a canned food drive sponsored by the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. In 2010, Bob Moore dealerships collected over 28,000 pounds of food in the form of canned goods. This year’s canned goods campaign has the Bob Moore dealerships engaged in friendly head-to-head competition. Two areas include the amount of canned goods collected by participating dealerships and a canned goods sculpture competition. Each store was asked to create a sculpture that tied in with some part of the community. Bob Moore Nissan of Tulsa has sculpted a likeness of the praying hands at ORU with a sign that says, “Tulsa Prays to End Hunger.” One of the fingers sports a Nissan ring.

“We know you have high expectations, and we enjoy the challenge of not only meeting, but exceeding those standards each and every time you visit our dealership.”
