Jason Lusk is the owner of Yvonne’s Monograms and he runs his family’s custom embroidery shop with a clear passion for what he does. His impeccable work can be seen all over Broken Arrow, on everything from company shirts to receiving blankets for the newest babies in town.
At Yvonne’s, you can browse the vast array of colorful threads available for your pieces and see beautiful examples of their work for inspiration. Whether you bring in your own items or shop for something special from their selection of great bags, shirts, hats, baby items and more, you can rest assured that your project is in good hands with Jason and his staff.
The family business was opened by Yvonne Lusk in 1996, and they have been making beautiful custom embroidery pieces ever since. Jason continues to provide excellent service to Yvonne’s customers at their new location on Main Street in Broken Arrow.
“My mom passed away a few years ago, and that’s when I started in the business. That’s why it’s called Yvonne’s, it’s named after her,” Jason said. “We were located in south Broken Arrow for 22 years. Then last year, we moved to a more central location and it’s been really good for us. We’re excited to be right here on Main Street and we plan to stay here for a long time.”
Graduation season will be here soon, and Yvonne’s can customize all of your scholar’s college gear. Some of the more popular items people bring in for customization are laundry bags in the school’s colors and travel bags that are excellent for frequent visits home. Another useful gift for new college students is a fresh set of bath towels with the student’s name embroidered right on them, so they don’t have to worry about losing towels while they’re busy adjusting to dorm life.
Jackets with greek letters, pillowcases with an encouraging message, or a stylish new backpack to bring to class can all be customized for your graduate’s personality. Though Christmas stockings and graduation or college gifts rank as some of the more popular items that Yvonne’s makes, the possibilities are almost endless.
“We’ve done a spare tire cover for the back of a jeep, golf bags, we do a lot of baby items, towels, wedding gifts, anything you can think of,” recalls Jason. Yvonne’s has even been making the Broken Arrow Pride Band’s letter jackets since Jason was a member of the band himself! He played the trumpet and wore his letter jacket with pride.
The entire design and digitizing process is quick and easy, and choosing fonts, colors and placement is made simple with the guidance of this talented and experienced team. Replicating an existing design, such as a company’s logo or a child’s initials, is a piece of cake. Jason adds, “We can also do any size project, from just one item to thousands of pieces.”
Customers are often surprised to learn that new projects don’t always require any extensive design work. Each customer’s artwork is stored so that it can be easily put to use again, making ordering company shirts for a new employee or re-ordering a gift simple.
“We have designs that we’ve had on file for 22 years,” said Jason. “Customers we haven’t seen for maybe 15 years will come in and we’re still able to pull up their logo to make something new for them.”
Stop by Yvonne’s on Main Street in Broken Arrow to get started on your custom embroidery project today.
