Elyssa Kaufman, long-time employee of The Scrapbook Store, is excited about their upcoming sales and giveaways to celebrate six years in business.
Jerri Ann Currey is excited to share this milestone with her favorite people: her customers. Special sales and giveaways await everyone who shops at The Scrapbook Store in July, along with plenty of fun and educational classes designed to spark your creativity.
Terrific Tuesdays are just one example of the entertainment that awaits customers. Created just for the summertime, Terrific Tuesdays are special daytime classes. Call the store for times and details.
Just for the kids, Jerri Ann is excited to offer The Scrapbook Store Kids Club. This club is specifically geared towards children from 6 to 12 years of age and offers eight different craft projects for them to complete, one each week. Parents can choose between two different times – 6 p.m. Tuesday evenings or 3 p.m. Wednesday afternoons. Classes last for one-and-a-half hours and are a bargain at $8.50 per child. Be sure to stop by and sign your child up today!
Friday nights are a great opportunity for a “girls’ night out.” Join in on the great times every Friday evening and one Saturday night each month. Better known as “Crop Night,” this is the perfect opportunity to bring your own scrapbooking pages and projects into the store and for only $5, spend the night being completely catered to. “We have so much fun during Crop Night,” says Jerri Ann. “We serve refreshments and give our customers a relaxing atmosphere where they can interact with their peers, get input on the projects they are working on, and also share ideas with each other. It is a great time for everyone!”
Scrapbooking is a great hobby because everyone can do it, explains Jerri Ann. It is an activity that not only is easy, but when you are finished, you have a beautiful book filled with happy memories to keep forever. “Our customers create everything from extremely elaborate books to the very simple and basic ones,” she says. It is really up to each individual, which is what makes it such a popular hobby.
Of course, Jerri Ann’s obvious enjoyment at owning The Scrapbook Store has something to do with its success too. “I love being a business owner; I love the interaction I have with my customers; I love helping them put together amazing pages that make them smile. I just love what I do!” she states. “I consider myself a customer service orientated person, and this allows me to help others, give my opinion, and enjoy myself.”
August 20 and 21 are big days in the scrapbooking world, so be sure to mark your calendar. The Creating Keepsakes Convention will be in Tulsa at the Renaissance Hotel. The Scrapbook Store will once again be offering shuttle service from the store to the convention. Shuttles will run every other hour, and the store will offer special crops and discounts throughout the convention.
Come join in the celebration and see what all the excitement is about! The Scrapbook Store is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Wednesday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, call (918) 376-2481 or visit their website at www.owassoscrapbookstore.com.
