Once again Hebert’s Specialty Meats is ready to take orders for those  extra special Cajun style Thanksgiving dinners.  Many a table will include favorite holiday meats with just the right amount of spicy seasonings to add a little heat to every mouth-watering bite.

Ed “Cajun Ed” Richard, owner of the restaurant, says he is pleased to fill orders for the same customers he has had for nearly 20 years.

“Some people have ordered meats from us every holiday,” the Louisiana native recalls.  “Some want a little adventure in their meal with a few things to add a different flavor.”

Cajun Ed provides wonderful specialty meats and other delicacies authentic to New Orleans. This is real Cajun food made by real Cajun folks who make every meal a celebration.

Hebert’s has it all.  Choose from turducken, stuffed boneless turkey, stuffed turkey breast, spiral ham with honey or Cajun honey glaze, smoked turkey, turkey or boneless stuffed chicken.  For those who prefer something other than poultry, beef or pork tenderloin, prime rib roast, pork crown roast or pork loin are also available.  All the meats at Hebert’s are extra special quality, keeping people coming back year after year.

Side dishes include cornbread dressing, Andouille cornbread dressing, dirty rice dressing, sweet potatoes, crawfish jalapeno cornbread dressing, mashed potatoes, broccoli cheese casserole, green beans, corn maque choux, potato salad and cole slaw.
