Spring is almost here! And The District on Main in downtown Claremore is prepared, with new arrivals coming in daily. From dresses for Easter to an expanding line of menswear, the upscale boutique promises to delight your senses when you walk through the door at 407 W. Will Rogers Blvd.
According to Elle Magazine’s “A Comprehensive Guide to Spring 2016 Fashion Trends,” a few of the major trends that fashionistas will be sporting include 70s-inspired suede, pleats, fringe, and lightweight denim. You’ll find all these styles and much more at The District. “Other popular spring trends are simple patterns and solid colors. The Bohemian look is well-liked and includes suede and fringe, as well as flowy, loose-fitting tops, lace and flared jeans,” says store owner Cari Bohannan.
At The District, you’ll find new spring lines from popular brands such as Brighton, which includes jewelry, handbags, watches, sunglasses and charms; Kendra Scott jewelry; Frye shoes, sandals and handbags; Lilly Pulitzer stationery and gifts including totes, tumblers, umbrellas, coolers, key fobs and sunglasses; and Southern Tide T-shirts.
Cari mentions another spring trend is the addition of natural stones to jewelry. “Kendra Scott jewelry includes beautiful designs featuring lapis, amethyst and opal for spring.”
The highly popular Rustic Cuff line is also available at The District. This quality and unique brand, which has grown from a leather cuff line into an entire collection including exotic skins, original designs, and various types of metals, was created by Tulsa resident Jill Donovan. “We keep a nice selection of Rustic Cuff in stock. These make wonderful gifts for special occasions such as upcoming graduations or weddings,” adds Cari.
