Whether you want to learn more about the concrete staining process, find out how you can do it yourself or determine the cost of having concrete professionally stained, Paschal Studios is the place to visit.
“We are one of the few places left to offer true custom craftsmanship and unique designs,” Bill Paschal, owner of Paschal Studios of Tulsa, says. “We specialize in scored and stained concrete flooring that will transform an ordinary slab into a luxurious floor. We also have the equipment and materials that contribute to the beauty of stained concrete floor creations.”
Paschal Studios offers everything needed to do your own concrete staining, including all the necessary equipment. Paschal can help you accomplish the look you desire. Are you not inclined to do the project yourself? Paschal Studios offers a professional staff to do the work for you, as well.
The public may contact Paschal Studios about several two-hour seminars that have been scheduled to educate those interested in the techniques, designs and effects possible through the art of stained or polished concrete.
“We want to educate our customers on how to do their own stained concrete projects,” says Paschal. “We are the Tulsa distributor for Kemiko products, and we carry their complete line.” Kemiko leads the industry with their reputation for being the finest concrete staining products on the market. “We invite customers to view actual projects accomplished with Kemiko products on their website at: www.kemiko.com,” encourages Paschal. Paschal Studios also features decorative tiles, moldings, concrete staining materials and other home products on their website at www.paschalstudios.com.
Paschal Studios is also an extremely desirable option for traditional flooring products. Paschal says, “The do-it-yourselfer can cover a thousand square feet of floor space for about 50 cents per square foot. This is a beautiful, low cost option to traditional flooring.”
“Our new showroom was completed last November,” adds Paschal. “Whether building or remodeling, it features multiple samples of actual stained concrete flooring, plus many other decorative items to consider.” Hand painted murals on tumble marble are on display, as well as decorative tiles and accents that are used on kitchen backsplashes. Anyone can stop in for information and see the many options available to enhance and beautify a home or business.
Staining concrete involves a chemical reaction that etches the concrete’s surface. Once the desired effect is achieved, the surface is covered with a sealing coat to further enhance colors, beautify and protect.
Polishing concrete is another popular option that produces a totally different effect. Once the concrete surface is polished, it is dyed instead of being etched as it is with staining. The floor is polished with a grinder, starting with coarse to very fine grit to create a glossy effect. This process is more oriented to the professional, not the do-it-yourselfer, as it does require special equipment.
What are you waiting for? Visit Paschal Studios today for information on how to convert that simple concrete slab into a work of art.
