If you’re a Southern girl with spunk and class, Kelly Corey and Marti Coleman can outfit, adorn, and style both your body and abode. As the name implies, Twisted Soul Sisters is anything but the norm. A unique ­boutique in Bixby, the store ­specializes in repurposed vintage jewelry, trendy clothing brands, antiques, and so much more. A truly one-of-a-kind store, Twisted Soul Sisters caters to everything charming, sassy, elegant, fun, Southern, and above all, ladylike.  

    Self-proclaimed pickers, Kelly and Marti offer a ­combination of vintage and new. “The combination of the custom style and repurposing of vintage pieces ensures that customers will never purchase something and then run into it someplace else,” Kelly states. “We cater to the individual, and we want the individual’s style to shine.”

    After a year in their new location, Twisted Soul Sisters has expanded its store and ­merchandise lines. While people come from far and wide for the custom stamping and ­repurposing of vintage jewelry into custom pieces, the two friends have also picked up clothing and jewelry brands that are unique to the Tulsa area. Others Will Follow, Black Swan, Dear John, Beaucoup, and Waxing Poetic are a few of the feminine new lines for sale. “Our first shipment of Dear John denim sold out immediately. The fit is so great that we literally had people waiting for our new shipment to come in,” Kelly says.  

    Twisted Soul Sisters has also recently added Park Hill candles that feature scents like Sweet Tea and Warm Cornbread, and the entire spectrum of Plaster Paint, an all-purpose, no sanding, no scraping paint line. Nerium, a new plant-based anti-aging face cream, is also available. In addition to the new favorites, the old friends remain. Lines like Lenny and Eva, Babyfoot, Old Gringos, and Corral boots also grace Twisted Soul Sisters’ shelves.

    “Our boutique was built with a lot of blood, sweat, and tears,” says Kelly. “We don’t want it to be about the purchase that a customer makes. We want it to be about the experience that a customer has while here.” It is this philosophy that has led to events like Thursday Ladies Nights. Every Thursday, women are invited to indulge in a little retail therapy along with wine, cheese and crackers with Kelly and Marti. Twisted Soul Sisters also offers birthday parties for young ladies and their friends, encouraging the younger generation to explore their own sense of style with custom jewelry creations for the guests.  

    Twisted Soul Sisters offers Twisted Tuesday deals every Tuesday on Facebook. Promotions range from 25 ­percent off denim to buy one get one T-shirts to 20 percent off custom jewelry creations.
