Quality Signs & Banners Owner Rodney Brown delights in watching smiles spread across the faces of kids and adults alike whenever they see The Quality Sign Machine.
Ever feel like you’ve just experienced something that sent you through a time warp back to the past…or had a flash back to the hippie generation of the ‘60s and ‘70s? Relax. You’ve probably just seen the Quality Sign Machine and the Scooby-Doo Gang.
On Labor Day weekend last year, Quality Signs & Banners Owner Rodney Brown and his wife Dee spotted a tiny microvan with a “For Sale” sign by the side of the road. Dee proclaimed, “You’ve got to buy it!” They immediately made the deal with the vehicle’s owner. The little gem purchased by the Browns is a 1993 Daihatsu Atrai. It is a right-hand driver with a 3-cylinder 659cc engine.
Rodney and Quality Signs Graphic Designer Pee Wee Ward wanted a wrap package that would be playful, cartoonish and appealing to young and old alike. The unanimous decision was to do a spin-off of the Scooby-Doo Mystery Machine, obviously, a winning choice. The wrap was installed by Rodney, Pee Wee and Alex Adamson. “The Quality Sign Machine has been an attention getter since its completion last Halloween,” says Rodney. “Everywhere we go, people wave at us, take pictures and want information about our microbus. When it’s parked, it always attracts a crowd and spawns photos.” The cute Quality Sign Machine will be featured in parades and special events around the area and is usually parked in front of the Quality Signs & Banners building in Broken Arrow.
Quality Signs & Banners originated in 1999 by principle founders John Brown, his late-wife Candy Brown and their son, Rodney Brown, the owner of the Broken Arrow-based business. They are celebrating 18 years of providing Metro Tulsa with high quality signs, banners, vinyl vehicle graphics, full vehicle wraps, sign faces, banners, real estate and yard signs, motocross, ATV and race car graphics. In addition, they offer two start-up business packages, logo designs and interior vinyl graphics for the office, home or business.
Rodney and his crew are devoted to detail, quality and providing customers the ultimate in friendliness and quality customer service. You’ll also find their prices affordable. Whether it’s simple signs or custom vehicle and trailer graphics, you’ll enjoy doing business with Rodney and his professional graphics team.
