Gardeners, get ready for spring with free information! Join Tulsa Garden Center for their annual Gardening Info Fair, where you will have the opportunity to find all the answers to your gardening questions on Saturday, February 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Everything from new plant introductions for 2010 to horticultural experts and landscape designers to a Gardening Book Fair, this is truly the one day to get all the information you need to start your spring project.
Many of Tulsa Garden Center’s affiliated gardening groups will be participating. These organizations will provide information and resources on specific plant topics.
During this event Barry Fugatt, Tulsa Garden Center director of horticulture, will present a seminar, “Great Soils.” Learn how to create a truly healthy soil and how to maintain the soil’s productivity over the long haul. This presentation will be held in the Tulsa Garden Center Ballroom from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Cost for the seminar is $15 per person. Information will be available on Tulsa Garden Center’s variety of classes and seminars for the spring sessions, with the opportunity to register during this event.
Be sure to stop by the Tulsa Garden Center Gift Shop and check out all their garden essentials: gardening gloves, hats, small hand tools, clay pots and other garden accessories.
