Picture the island of Ischia, Italy. Yes, it is truly as breathtaking as it sounds.  Neighbors, friends and family gather around the brick oven if the backyard and talk about their day for hours. This is a daily ritual in Ischia, and thanks to Your Pie, authentic brick oven meals can be part of your daily wind-down, too.

Your Pie opened in Tulsa in October 2016, and is home to the 10” hand-tossed, brick oven pizza topped with all fresh ingredients, scratch made sauce and specialty mozzarella cheese – and you get to pick the toppings you want. Each pie is made especially for you (which means you don’t have to share!)  They also serve made to order paninis, salads and gelato.

On March 14, national Pi Day, Your Pie will offer a special dome-in or carry-out promotion in which all 10” pies are $3.14.

“It’s our way to introduce ourselves to the neighborhood,” said Lee Griffin, owner of Your Pie and Honey Baked Ham.  “We know everyone will fall in love with the quality of our authentic brick-oven style pizza.”

For dessert, Your Pie features Italian-style gelato in mint chocolate chip, blood orange and tiramisu flavors.  They also offer local craft beer like Marshall and Prairie, as well as regional wines.

Don’t let the old world charm fool you.  Your Pie is ahead of the game with menu options for dietary needs like gluten free crust, vegan cheese, gluten free salad dressings and sorbet, which is a dairy free dessert.

“I am so excited to introduce Your Pie to Tulsa,” said Griffin. “I have owned the Honey Baked Ham in town for years and I was looking to diversify when I found Your Pie.  It’s a great quality product, and they encourage you to get involved with your community which is something I really believe in doing.”

In October, Your Pie encouraged Griffin to host a soft opening with community partner The Little Lighthouse.  “Through this partnership, we asked people on social media and through our personal contacts to come visit the restaurant for our first three days of business, continued Griffin.  “Instead of charging them for the food, we asked for a small donation to The Little Lighthouse.  We raised over $3,600 for their cause and trained my staff at the same time. It was a win-win.”

Your Pie is located at 71st and Lewis and is open from 11:00 a.m.  – 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursdays, and 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturday.  Their special family-style seating can seat large groups following events, sporting activities and family outings.

It’s almost time for Easter. You may also order your Honey Baked Ham or Honey Baked Turkey at the Your Pie location featuring a Saturday pick up date.
