Owner Tom Hamby welcomes you to check out the great selection of flat screen televisions at Tumble In.
Tumble In opened its doors in Broken in early August, 2008. In 1942, Don Smith founded “Tumble Inn” at the bottom of Indian Agency Hill in Muskogee, Oklahoma. On the top of Indian Agency Hill was a large VA Medical Center that was already receiving World War II wounded. These soldiers would walk down Honor Heights Boulevard to the Tumble Inn to have a beer since alcohol sales were banned on Indian property. Don realized very quickly that catering to the wives and sweethearts of the soldiers was more profitable than selling a nickel beer.
Don changed the name to Tumble In Discount Center and it became Muskogee’s first discount center. Over the years Don added sporting goods, automotive parts, one of Muskogee’s first Mexican restaurants, televisions and appliances. Stores were added in Okmulgee and Pryor.
Televisions and electronics sales became very successful, and in 1973 Tumble In Television and Appliances became the new store name. Stores were added in McAlester and now in Broken Arrow.
Tumble In TV and Appliance is an active member of Nationwide Buying Group. Nationwide is a 7,500-member buying group that purchases 11 billion dollars worth of appliances and electronics. This buying power keeps Tumble In TV and Appliance competitive with large box stores. Their low overhead with volume pricing approach has been and will be the reason for their success.
The Broken Arrow store carries virtually every major appliance for the home – televisions and entertainment center products, refrigerators, freezers, washers and dryers, and a multitude of built-in cooking products. Owner Tom Hamby says that the 32-inch flat screen televisions have been popular and the prices are significantly lower on brand name products than they have been. “Even though the economy has been down, TV sales are up,” he says.
Major appliances carried by Tumble In include Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, KitchenAid Countertop, Jenn-Air, Amana, Frigidare, and Electrolux. The electronics side includes the names of Pioneer Elite, LG, Toshiba, Hitachi, Sony, Sharp, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Zenith, Onkyo, Definitive Technology, Monster and DirecTV. They also carry Oreck and Dyson vacuum cleaners and will assist you with customer installations of your appliances or electronics.
If you are building or remodeling, you may want to consider Tumble In’s storage program. They will store any paid-in-full product for you in their huge, secure warehouse. This permits you to find the products you want at today’s price and know that the merchandise will be safe until your home or project is ready for them. There’s no need to risk storing products in the garage where they might be stolen.
Built-in cooking and countertop appliances are popular year-round. Tumble In carries a huge selection of Electrolux appliances with innovative performance and ingenious features. These products have been used in fine European homes and restaurants for over 70 years. That same level of uncompromising quality and performance is now available in North America. This lineup includes single and double wall ovens, warmer drawers, induction hybrid cooktops plus gas and electric cooktops, built-in ranges, freestanding ranges, over-the-range microwaves and built-in microwaves. They also carry a full line of Electrolux and other refrigerators and freezers, and an assortment of wine towers and coolers.
If you’re looking for an appliance for your home or a nice gift for the entire family, you owe it to yourself to check out Tumble In of Broken Arrow.
