Sooner SUCCESS is proud to announce that they have partnered with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services to attain the rights to host screenings of “Unseen: Caregiver Documentary. This documentary follows a family raising a child with profound disabilities and their journey of finding support and resources and how the lives of the caregivers are affected.
The objectives of the film are to:
- Give an unfiltered glimpse into the lives of the parents of caregivers and their real challenges.
- Shed light on how difficult it can be to get support and real solutions.
- Establish strategic partnerships to enable real change
“I would love the opportunity to discuss setting up a viewing! The film can be shown in a classroom setting, small groups or larger groups, collaborating with guided Q&A through a panel of parents and professionals,” says Beth Soderfelt, Sooner SUCCESS Coordinator for Rogers, Mayes and Delaware County.
