We all need a creative outlet and The Philbrook has several upcoming workshops that are designed to fill that need in adults. No matter your interests, their workshops are sure to be a fulfilling and enjoyable activity. So mark your calendar, reserve your seat, and join the fun!

Nature Crown Workshop
Friday, October 11, 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Cost: $20 Memberm $38 Adult

Bring a friend and join us for a captivating Nature Crown Workshop this Halloween season! In this workshop, adults will celebrate the season by crafting enchanting headpieces using twigs, flowers, crystals, and other natural materials. Embrace your creativity with nature-inspired artistry celebrating the spooky season with a touch of woodland magic.

This beginner-level workshop is great for newbies as well as more experienced crafters looking for a fun way to spend an afternoon.

Seed Collecting Workshop
Saturday, October 12, 10:00am – 11:30am

Cost: $30 Member, $15 Member Youth (17 & Under), $40 Adult, $20 Youth (17 & Under)

Collect seeds from native plants with a Philbrook horticulturist. Learn which plant seeds are easy to collect, store, and propagate, and what times of the year seeds can be collected.

Decoupage Memory Box Workshop
Friday, November 15, 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Cost: $20 Member, $38 Adult

Explore the art of decoupage to craft a meaningful and decorative keepsake perfect for storing cherished memories. During the workshop, adults will create beautiful boxes using natural materials like pressed flowers, tumbled stones, handmade paper, and more. Blending creativity and mindfulness, this is a perfect opportunity to take a moment to relax before the holiday season kicks into high gear.

This beginner-level workshop is great for newbies as well as more experienced crafters looking for a fun way to spend an evening.

Wreath-Making Workshop
Thursday, December 05, 2:00pm – 3:30pm, or Saturday, December 07,  9:30am – 11:00am

Cost: $55 Member & Member Youth (17 & Under), $65 Adult & Youth (17 & Under)

*All tickets include general admission to museum & gardens.

In this hands-on workshop, decorate a grapevine wreath with fresh greenery and seasonal flora as Philbrook horticulturists guide you in creating a wreath, which can also be used as a centerpiece, to take home for the holidays.
