Nita Grisham, sales manager of EZe Products, shows the beautiful furniture-quality wood of their saunas.
In a time when businesses can come and go rather quickly, it’s nice to find a company with staying power. EZe Products has been selling saunas, and only saunas, for over 27 years. Owners Jerry Vick and Dan Cheshewalla brought Japanese technology to the states after discovering booth-sized saunas on a business trip in Tokyo. Based in Tulsa for the past 16 years, EZe Products maintains a major local warehouse and a newly remodeled showroom, as well as one of the best parts and service departments in this region.
Sales manager Nita Grisham easily explains the longevity of EZe Products. “We have superior products and old-fashioned customer service. We build personal relationships with our clients and meet their needs. That’s very rare these days.”
Their attention to detail and personal service is what brought Juli Byrnes and her husband Eddie to EZe Products back in June. Eddie is exposed to a variety of chemicals at his job in auto repair, and he wanted a sauna unit for detoxification. The Broken Arrow couple run marathons and hoped for pain relief as well. After searching the Internet and finding that one of America’s major sauna distributors was located right here in Tulsa, Juli and Eddie visited the local showroom.
Juli shared that she wasn’t sure a sauna would work for her. “I’ve been a hot tub enthusiast for 19 years and I wasn’t convinced at first. I sold my hot tub the day after I first used the sauna. It works so well, it provides a deep heat that leaves you feeling renewed. It’s incredible.” Juli is also very pleased with the ease of operation with the EZe sauna. It is easily assembled, easily moved, and plugs into a standard household outlet. She says it also saved her money on her energy bills, since the sauna is only heated a few minutes prior to use and runs very efficiently.
The Byrneses also enjoy the relaxation of their time together in the sauna. “We get our drinks and adjust the backrest and sit and talk with no television or interruptions,” says Julie. “It’s made such a difference for me. We ran in the Marine Corp marathon in Washington, D.C. in October, and I used the sauna before and after and I wasn’t sore. I walked around sightseeing for five days afterward. Before I started using the sauna, I would be sore for weeks after a big race.”
Nita says that many people do not understand the technology behind saunas. When you use a sauna to enhance perspiration, you burn calories in the process and detoxify the body. While the water weight can be regained by rehydrating the body, the calories have still been burned. According to owner Jerry Vick, regular use of a sauna may give your cardiovascular system effective conditioning. It has also been shown to accelerate healing for injuries and ease chronic conditions through increased blood circulation.
Each EZe unit is beautiful, and the furniture-quality wood cabinets are available in several models that seat one to four people. Units can be constructed in non-allergenic Canadian hemlock wood or aromatic cedar. Standard accessories include backrests, reading lights, beverage holders, a CD player and AM/FM radio. Feel free to take in your cell phone, books or magazines. The radiant heat system is wheelchair-friendly as well.
Comfort is very important for the saunas, and Nita says EZe has addressed the issue of uneven heating by using Micro-Carbon Fiber Flat Heaters that are internationally-patented and provide a deep, even heat around the entire body.
EZe saunas are in use across America and Canada in doctors’ offices, detoxification centers, cancer treatment facilities, spas and fitness centers, and in private homes. The U.S. military and several fire departments are clients of EZe as well. For a personal appointment to view these fine saunas, give EZe a call today at (918) 622-5455.
