The District on Main is not your average boutique; you’ll find it is more of a lifestyle liaison. Located in the heart of the historical and happening downtown Claremore, the shop’s owner, Cari Bohannan, is committed to bringing her customers something truly unique with something for everyone.
With warmer weather just around the corner, Cari is excited to offer the latest styles in women’s clothing for the upcoming season. “We have tons of new spring fashions coming in every day!” said Cari. “We have spring fever, for sure!” The upcoming trends will offer lots of pastels, and the always classic stripes and polka dots. Florals and Bohemian prints are also on point, as well as embroidered tops. The shop boasts a massive selection of jeans also keeping up with the latest styles. “I have denim for days,” said Cari. “We have any style you could want these days.” Sizes range in misses extra-small to extra-large, with some plus sizes available.
Gift options and inspirations are plentiful at The District, whether for someone special or yourself. An incredible selection of self-care items can be found, including aromatherapy, special handmade soaps, self-care items, and tons of décor and collectibles. Many of the items available in-store are “give-back” products, in that each purchase provides a charitable contribution to the brand’s specific cause. “It’s important to us that we include as many give-back products as we can,” Cari said. “I feel that this is something we need to do.” Some of the participating brands include PureVida, Nora Fleming, Blue Planet Sunglasses, Bitchstix Lipbalms and many more.
Much of the merchandise found in the boutique is unique to the area and can only be found at The District. “I try to make our merchandise more exclusive,” she said, “and that really sets us apart.” Truly remarkable is the largest selection in the state of Kendra Scott Jewelry. The super trendy pieces are always a hot item while maintaining a timeless appeal. A massive collection of Brighton jewelry and handbags are also available. Brighton is recognized for artistry and quality, and unlike most brands, offers warranties on their merchandise.

The latest news at The District is the innovative use of the space above the shop. Studio 99 owned by Cristi McKinney, open March 4, will be the hottest new yoga studio in the area, with several types of yoga classes offered as well as other instructions. Fully certified instructors will train in areas such as barrè, hot and traditional yoga, and other fitness styles, as well as pound classes. “I knew that is what I always wanted that space to be,” said Cari. “There is nothing like this in our area!” The studio is a beautiful mix of old architecture with modern amenities and a stunning view of downtown Claremore. More information on the yoga studio can be found on Facebook/@studio99ok.
